Having a technical background, I signed up for Building Enterprise Solutions with SharePoint Server 2007 course in order to get a broad exposure to the many features and capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007. What I got was a whole lot more than I expected. From the beginning it was clear that the trainer was intimately familiar with the product. No question went unanswered, and ad-hoc, on-the-spot, demos showed up as easily as the pre-planned ones. The labs were not only outstanding, but as a developer I got twice the benefit because the labs proved to be great examples on how to setup and use Visual Studio to create and deploy custom solutions and features. I also appreciated the break-time and after-class discussions, where we were able to go beyond the course content to address real-life issues that the different students were currently struggling with. I got much more out of this class than the agenda suggests and feel my money was very well spent.
